The contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence, excluding residents of Quebec. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Fill Your Cup Shop Inc. are not eligible.

The contest widget is embedded directly on this page - you do not need to go anywhere else. To get started, scroll down to the contest widget, enter your name and email or log in via any of the social icons, like Google, Facebook, etc. and that immediately earns you 500 entries. The whole process takes less than a minute.

The contest panel displays all available entry methods in one place. Each method is listed as a clickable action - such as registering (logging in via any of the social icons, like Google, Facebook, etc.), sharing on Instagram, or submitting your essay. Once you complete an action, it is marked as done and your entry total updates automatically. You can see your running entry count at any time by returning to the widget on this page and logging in with the email address you used to register.

No. Each entry method is optional and independent. You can complete as many or as few as you like. Completing more methods simply increases your total entries and improves your odds of winning. The only method that must come first is the initial registration, as it unlocks the rest of the widget.

Absolutely. Your progress is saved automatically. If you leave and return to this page, simply scroll down to the contest widget and log back in using your name and email or log in via any of the social icons, like Google, Facebook, etc.. Everything will be right where you left it, including your completed actions and current entry total. You can return as many times as you like before the contest closes.

Some actions, particularly social shares, require manual verification before entries are added. Make sure your Instagram or Facebook post is set to public and that you have submitted the verification link or screenshot through the widget as instructed. If your entry count still has not updated within 24 hours, contact us here and we will look into it.

Once registered, you can earn additional entries by

The contest closes on July 22, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. Mountain Time. One winner will be selected by random draw within 14 days of the closing date. The selected winner will be contacted by email and must respond within 30 days to claim their prize.

The Grand Prize is one WestJet gift card with an approximate retail value of CAD $1,500, delivered electronically or by mail. The prize is subject to WestJet's gift card terms and conditions. No cash substitute is available.

No. There is no purchase required to enter or win the contest. You can enter for free by submitting an original essay of at least 300 words here and answering the prompt:

"What adventure, experience, or dream would you pursue if you won $1,500?"

Canadian contest law requires that winners correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question before being confirmed as the winner. It is a straightforward arithmetic question - no studying required. Failure to answer correctly will result in the selection of an alternate winner.
